Ye I can understand that. I first read "The Land" on a long summer holiday,
camping, first experiences of canoeing in idyllic country, the beauty of clear water over stone,
listening to astral weeks, early days with my girlfriend/wife, she hated that book, it wasn't shared.
We did read the Hobbit and LOTR to each other.
Later I read the first few Potters to our daughter, better than clear water over stone.
