Even many law abiding people should NOT own a gun.
If you do not have the will to use a firearm in your own defense having a firearm is more a liability than an asset.
Of course no one KNOWS until the moment comes - but no one knows you better than you. So the choice of being armed or not should be a personal choice.
could you live with this philosophy without police/2 hour response time?? or in a time and or place where they have been defunded completely, or are you talking about a 10 to 15 min 911 response time?
Your philosophy would not have been possible just one or two generations ago. because back then if you did not have a gun you were prey for someone who did.
So in your mind what changed? did people change to the point society could never fall back into a state where the population preyed on people? a place where the poor and unarmed were habitually brutalized? or did the police/law enforcement beat back and imprisoned enough of those predators to where the streets are full of fairly decent people.
so if police are the linch pin to a peaceful society as apposed to a wild west/colonial times.. and those departments are being defunded and not supported. what makes you think we will not quickly find ourselves back to people preying on each others especially in the cities?
how many semi truck loads of food do you think it will take before the people of a big city turn on one another? how long before they literally start eating each other? (This is what i mean when i reference zombies. I'm not talking about the walking dead but those who eat and prey on people)

I'm not limiting anyone to those three, i'm saying at the minimum these three are where you should start.Bold mine -
you forget this is the required minimum according to me. for everyone legally allowed to own a gun. and you also seem to have forgotten that the minors will not stay minors forever in your calculation. not to mention immigrants and those who petition to have their gun rights reinstated. (after 9 years in some states you can get your fire arms rights back even after felony charges)
again not saying 3 is the limit. i'm saying those three should be mandatory, and you should have 1000 rounds for each and be made to train with those guns. if you want or need more then you have to show proficiency with those three first. then move up to the next level on up to a tank or anti tank or big bore fire arms/cannons.. depending on your own perceived need and budget. I would even go so far to say if you show proficiency and are responsible enough to house such devices the government should help you buy things like tanks if you can afford the storage and up keep.
If I didn't know better, I would think this indicates a sense of humor on Drich's part.
So I better get busy around here we need four more guns, a shit ton of ammo and I need to brush up on my skills with a LAW...are those still a thing?
Husband is going to be pissed that he'll have to house the hotrod he's having built elsewhere to make room for our brand new tank.
Thanks for the morning chuckle.
he will "tank" you later.
