how can God be an authoritarian when he offers freedom and redemption at absolutely no cost? but in turn offers to plug you into life to full fill what you were designed to do? (personal full fillment, a sense of completeness, removal of doubt and fear in life.)
you have been fooled into thinking that this is a religions of rules and restrictions. when in truth it is about freedom. I am free to be me warts and all. I have come to want the things God wants for us, as i've tried it both ways and are 1000 time more satisfied now that i was doing it what i only thought was my way.
again what makes the sin the same is the punishment. whether the sin is unforgivable or it's stealing because you are hungry death is the sentence
you see sin as a choice, when in fact sin is described as a fungus in the bible. which in turn works like a virus... or like a zombie virus. even so.. there is a cure, no matter if you contract this virus by a big homo/hetero sex party or if you get infected eating stolen bread because you are hungry. it makes no difference to God because he does not care about the circumstance, but only if you are vaccinated or infected. He will not allow infected people into the quarantine safe zone no matter age or circumstance. they only qualification is are you vaccinated or do you carry the virus. if you carry the virus then your reasons as to why you got infected are moot.
and the only way one can not qualify for this vaccine if they anti vaxers who refuse to be inoculated./refusing the only method of administering the cure, which in God's terms is the holy Spirit. if you shite on the needle you get infected.. you cant be cured. otherwise salvation is absolutely open to anyone who will accept it.
A few questions:
By ‘the wages of sin is death’, I presume you mean spiritual (as opposed to physical) death. So why then are forgiven sins the same as unforgiven ones?
If sin (the act, not the concept) isn’t a choice, why are people punished for sinning?
Don’t you consider it monstrous that someone can blaspheme against the Holy Spirit And never be forgiven, even if they truly and sincerely repent? You, kind of liking shitting on a vaccine needle, but repenting and making restitution, THEN getting vaccinated with a clean needle?
Boru
in romans paul tells us the death owed is both spiritual and physical as we are a dual natured being. when we commit sins in our hearts our spirit owes a death which can only happen in hell. and of course our physical bodies are the instruments that commit the sin. so both Owe God death for sin.
however. Christ died as a sacrifice or to pay the debt of death to save our spirits/souls. and according to paul because he rose on the third day his promise of resurrection will see our old spirits placed in new homes/bodies. so we all will die or our bodies will die. our spirits if we elect to be saved will live on. if we don't choose to be save the sin that corrupted us in this life decays us further which is where i get the zombie analogy and the need for seperation of the living from the walking dead. Dead that can only be destroyed in hell fire.
2) that is the point for the analogy to show you sin is not looked at as having a moral component in this phase of life/existence. at this point sin is an infection that corrupts the soul it causes death to everything it infects. again like a zombie virus.. don't think zombies like dawn of the dead think more like army of the dead zombies (its new on netflix) these guys are some what conscious but still infected/eaten up by the virus and prey on the living like rotting animals. God in heaven/creation represents the clean uninfected population, while the unrepentant sinners represent those who could have been vaccinated in this life, so their minds and bodies would not be lost to the infection of sin in the next life.
God's actions here are less about punishing the sinful, and more about protecting and preserving life from the walking dead who refused to be inoculated against the zombie virus. What can you do with zombies except destroy them?
here a video i did last year on the same subject.
