What I did is take the argument you’ve made against giving employees a living wage to its logical conclusion. If some people don’t deserve to have the means necessary to survive, as you have argued, then why should they deserve to live? The only way it doesn’t follow is if you enjoy seeing them suffer or you just find the idea of actually helping people in need repugnant and don’t give a shit about human suffering.
