There is a dumb argument righties are using where they cite studies showing a higher of mental illness and that's some sort of win for them. There is multiple problems with this tactic.
1. Mental illness is a broad category
2. Mental illness doesn't mean your ideologically wrong or stupid (Unless your tell me, Sir Isaac Newton was a moron for having depression or possibly being bipolar )
3. These studies have small sample sizes and can't be used to judge the general populous
4.They are either self-reported or done clinics which will skew them Leftward was there far less stigma of mental illness on the left and left-wingers are far more likely to seek help.
So this tactic fails and is frankly shamful as using mental illness for political point-scoring is repulsive in the extreme.
