Had a phone interview and asked how they handled Covid last year. The recruiter sounded embarrassed, saying they were expected to come in the office every day. I looked the firm up on Glassdoor and so many negative comments mentioning how disgusting they were making people with Covid come to the office, etc. If you needed to stay home (because ya know, you had Covid) they made you take PTO. Nah, I’m good. Next!
Really sad that some companies just don’t get it. Your employees are your lifeline. No reason to make office execs venture into the office. But, I’m going to ask this question on my interviews from now on because it will reveal if the company treats its employees well...or not.
