I don't quite think you grasp how pride works in the context of the gay community. It's more a declaration of I'm here despite your personal ignorance against me.

That sounds an awful lot like "Look at me! Look at me!".

Doesn' t sound like the smartest of plans to me.

And don' t forget the deformed and disabled.

Wouldn' t it be nicer if we just treated everyone the same and judged them by their actions - not their genetics?

You don' t make friends by constantly pointing out our differences. We do it by finding out what we have in common.

We all share one universal commonality which bonds us all. We're all above average drivers!

If only you could convince the insurance companies.....
