RE: Arguments against Deism and for religion.

The deist god is one who appears exactly like no god at all. Nor is the deists god anything like any of the "gods" described by men before. One could call it a reaction to the ever decreasing domain of the divine. They don't put their chips in with obvious bullshit(debatable), but they haven't written off the notion entirely. That being said, I've only met one deist that made my skin crawl (on these forums no less). There was a moment in my life where I was very much trending towards deism, but ultimately, I couldn't take that final step and call the undefinable or the unknown "god".
