A bizarre story, the possible conclusion of a saga I've been following for over a decade, that's even gone as far as getting on Fox News:
Note: Tucker Carlson being Tucker Carlson, does not seem to have done much research into this case, especially since he seems convinced that Chris-Chan is their actual name and not a shortening of Christian/Christine Weston Chandler.
Also, Carlson spends too much time harping on Chris' status as a trans person, fails to note that, while Chris was taken to a men's prison instead of a women's prison, this seems to be the default for Virginian transwomen who haven't yet had the chop (and Chris has not.) And, of course, fails to mention the lively debate among those who follow Chris about whether or not Chris actually counts as a transwoman or if he's just deluded (for the vast majority of trans-folk, this argument is little more than gaslighting and denying their lived experiences, but given that Chris believes himself to not just be a woman, but the future God-Empress and liaison of the merger between our reality and a dimension where all fictional characters live, not to mention that his realisation came when he saw that one of his past lives was a woman who went to Woodstock, this might actually be the only case I know of where this is a legit argument.)
