I used to know a guy who converted his pickup truck to electric all by himself. He ran it on car batteries and told me he could get 60 miles on a full charge. Not much but he lived in a small town. His truck was 20 years old and he drove it on electric power for at least a decade. I think there are companies that will do an electric makeover on your car now and they use lithium batteries.
Why is it so?
