True story, and I hope she isn't a victim of her own stupidity. One of my regular cab drivers who didn't get vaccinated got COVID and is now at home sick. Hopefully what she got was a diluted variant. 

It is a myth that the vaccines do not work. They are not perfect, but all of them greatly reduce the risk of life threatening symptoms. I got the news yesterday. She could have been infected days or even a week before. So unfortunately, she still may end up in the ER. I hope not though. 

I also have a biological sister and biological mother whom also refuse the vaccine. 

I am getting tired of seeing story after story of people whom hesitated or refused only to end up in the ER or dead saying they regretted not getting it.

I really, truly, sincerely hope your cabbie dies. Since she was either too stupid or too selfish to take 20 minutes to go get a shot, she deserves to snuff it for being a deliberate danger to other people.

I have no sympathy for the unvaccinated.
