Again, I wish it were that simple. But the truth is at least in the west, we are, and always will be diverse. There is no way in reality, you can 100% separate yourself from diversity, especially if you say you are for diversity.
I hate that Viki did what she did. I hate that my biological mother and biological sister believe what they believe. But what do you want me to do? Lines in the sand if one are to draw, cannot be blanket statements.
"All or nothing" if it worked, the way any side would claim, would have produced worldwide peace forever.
It is not a matter of playing both sides. It is a matter of thinking long term.
If you want to ask me what I think of their positions, of course I think they are full of shit, and are potentially dangerous. But at the same time I am not willing to treat them as if they were the same as Trump or Stalin or Hitler.
Compassion does not mean you have to give up your empathy or logic. But it always should mean, despite what someone else might do to you, you don't carpet bomb revenge in response.
By continuing to pay for her services you were condoning her decision.
Consider yourself lucky if you don't end up being one of the people she infected.
