Too bad it is false.

Want some gasoline containing tetraethyl lead? No problem. You can buy all you want. Just go to the airport and buy some 100 octane.

The off road guys with high compression engines have been doing it for years.

Got no use for it myself - it will destroy a catcon rapidly -  and any car with a downflow O2 sensor needs the catalytic converter to get mixture right. 

But it is interesting how they don' t tell you the whole story - because then the story isn' t so wonderful.
