Wow, so it is now freedom to force someone to hold your hate speech.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed a bill that aims to stop social media companies from banning users or nixing posts based solely on political opinions — the latest salvo by Republicans, who claim that these tech giants are censoring conservative users.

"We will always defend the freedom of speech in Texas, which is why I am proud to sign House Bill 20 into law to protect first amendment rights in the Lone Star State," Abbott said in a statement.

So if you have a bakery you have the freedom to object to what is written on your cakes, but if you have a website you are forced to have whatever people write on it.

So, we can add ‘freedom of speech’ to the long list of things Abbott doesn’t understand. It guarantees your right to say stupid things, it doesn’t guarantee you a platform on which to say them.
