I'm not applying social pressure or anything. (I think "social pressure" might be your real gripe anyway.) What I do is try to treat trans people with dignity and respect... including respecting their pronouns. I don't feel the need to buy into whatever pronoun package is being sold, nor am I offended by it. I just try to be decent toward everybody. I think a similar attitude might suit you, Biker.
You completely missed the point in the OP.
I don't think I did. But maybe I missed the point...
My points were: don't worry too much about social pressure (shit you hear on the media counts here). Gender norms are kinda dumb. Just treat people with respect, and don't worry.
If I'm missing the point, could you be more specific? What exactly is bothering you?
