A pitch to do science & generate the evidence we need to offer our finest is not only a marketing failure,  it's a narc injury resulting in narc rage.

Since the only thing all atheists have in common is one opinion on one topic, we don't have much basis on which to organize, police who represents us, or conduct consistent marketing. If it was up to me, you'd have to pass a test before you could call yourself an atheist, but I'm not the pope of atheism and neither is anyone else.
