And just when I think your comments can't get any more ignorant or more misanthropic you find some new way to go even lower.

It' s about being fair.
If someone works hard and earns a fortune - or creates something that sells huge - or if they are just damned lucky - why ahould we have the right to take what is theirs?
Lucky Indians - they've got this whole continent to themselves - we better take it away from them and give it to someone else..... [ /smartass example ]
Answer we don' t have that right. Pretending we do is the very definition of theft.
Taxation only equates to theft if you get nothing in return. Schools, roads, utility networks, cops, the military, social programmes, government pensions, farm subsidies, national parks, museums, public transport, mail service…how does paying for these things qualify as theft?

Those with high incomes get taxed more because they can pay more, but then they return the favor by hiding their income, so they actually get taxed less. The wealthy pay a far lower percentage of their income in taxes than the middle class, who basically have no way to hide income. And tax is not theft. We live in a civilization that requires infrastructure. Without it, our civilization doesn't work very well. The rich use that infrastructure to a higher degree than the poor and middle class. Companies need roads and bridges and high speed Internet and they need healthy workers. This has always been the case in the civilized world; nothing has changed.Of course, they don't. It's just a sob story the rich invent to get out of paying and then loons start screeching about how it's theft with silly analogies
