The close relationship between sex and violence is not particularly surprising, he says, given similarities in the two behaviors across the animal world. “They both involve an initial approach and close investigation, a lot of sniffing and sensing, and in some animals you see that sexual behavior can be accompanied by aggression, for example biting,” he says.

This research applies to fruit flies and mice, not humans. In fruit flies and mice there may be overlap between neurons associated with aggression and sex.  The citation doesn't support any conclusions about human behavior, nor that there's a causal relationship between the two. Moreover, this has nothing to do with addictive chemicals in the brain which was the basis of your claim.

In the long term, pornography seems to create sexual dysfunctions, especially the inability to achieve erection or orgasm with a real life partner. Marital quality and  also appear to be compromised.

Do you know the difference between sex and pornography?  This citation is irrelevant to what you claimed.
