Why do you always insist on putting thoughts in my head that are not there.
NO, I do not. Even with a mere traffic ticket, when you sign the paperwork after being pulled over, you are not admitting to guilt, you are just agreeing to show up to your court date. Not showing up for even a traffic ticket is a crime. Showing up to any court case, major or minor, isn't an admission of guilt, it is simply an expectation, when called, accused, or witness, that you show up.
If everyone got to ignore a traffic ticket or court order to show up, there would be no law at all.
If Bannon shows up, he doesn't have to say a word, that is what our 5th is for. But you still have to show up. He committed a crime by ignoring a congressional subpoena. Hillary didn't ignore congress when she was called.
Then why did you say this:
Quote:I am watching the debate over holding Bannon to account. Holy f is this a joke. Bannon should have a ball and chain around his ankle.
The Congressional hearing is part of the due process to which Bannon is legally entitled (because the crime he’s being investigated for is directly related to Congress, they have the jurisdiction to do this). You called this ‘a joke’ and said Bannon should be in prisoner’s restraints - skip the hearing, skip the referral to the Department of Justice, skip the grand jury, and just put him in irons.
What you’re calling for is EXACTLY the denial of due process.
