I asked you a specific question and you didn' t answer.


If somebody handed you a gun - told you it wa unloaded - would you put it to your head and pull the trigger?

No?

Gee... Why not.? He TOLD you it was unloaded....

You should be fine with pulling the trigger......

But apparently you would point it at somebody else and yank the trigger...... After all - not YOUR responsibility, eh?

No, I would not put a gun to my head and pull the trigger. But if, over the years, 50 different professional gunsmiths handed me 50 different guns, told the they were unloaded and they WERE unloaded, I’d be inclined to trust gunsmith #51.

But if I were stupid enough to put an allegedly unload gun to my head and pulled the trigger, I would hope that the person who handed my the gun would face charges of negligent homicide or some such.

Twice in my years working in a gun shop I was handed a gun to put out on the floor - once by the owner - and once by a gunsmith - where upon checking the action - found live ammo in the gun.

You NEVER trust the guy who tells you " it' s unloaded".


Never. 


You check for yourself.

And even then - you treat it as if it were loaded with live ammo.

Is my way better?
