Again, not saying you do any of these, but please justify your reasons why you wouldn't do them, if you don't think having an accurate model of reality, based on true beliefs, is important.
Like not drinking bleach, even if people on the internet say it cures covid.
Invest loads of money because you got a message you believe is from a supernatural origin.
Give money to someone because they claim to be able to talk to your dead relatives.
Skip taking life saving medication because some faith healer says you are cured.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
