Did some checking on my health insurance and my out of pocket was going to be $100.00 for a 90 day supply. Went online and signed up for a coupon and though it took a while for the pharmacy to work it out, it was worth the half hour I spent waiting for them to figure it out.
Cash price $1,928.00. Copay with my insurance, $100.00, less coupon - zero $.
I feel like I won big on a scratch ticket.
WOW! That's fantastic.
Here we have a National Pharmaceutical Scheme which is part of our Universal Health Scheme. Most common medicines are on a list. The maximum payment is $30 for most scripts. There is a safety net of about $1400, in a calendar year. After that the cost of scripts drops to $6.50. That's how much I pay for most scripts as a senior and age pensioner.
But, I don't mean to rain on your porridge, that's an amazingly good outcome going on how I understand the US health system.
