In my generation I personally (like in person/gym shower) only knew of 1 un-cut. No one considered it mutilation back then. Guess I'm a mutilate.

When I was born, many Australian hospital routinely circumcised baby boys. The mother wasn't given a choice.(according to my mother)
Growing up, the only appendages I saw were circumcised.
Today, the US circumcises more baby boys for non religious reasons than any other country. The rate is in excess of one million a year.
