On a side note.
So, here in Aussie land, we have to register our vehicles. We have to register our guns.
Okay.
We also have to renew our registration of said vehicles every year which also entails getting a receipt from a mechanic that the vehicle is still sound/maintained/serviced etc. But we don't have to do that for the guns......
Isn't that interesting?
Think of how many more jobs would/could be created if registered owners had to have their weapons 're-certified' every year by a recognized, professional Armorer that said item was still in a quiality condition? Who could fix and tweak any dings of scratches the item might have rescieved over the past year of use.
Any who... just a weird rambling though.
Cheers.
Not at work.
The guns don' t need inspection..the guns work fine.
There has not been a rash of faulty guns not working as designed.
There has been a whole bunch of faulty USERS.
Only the faulty ones need inspection...
Hold the phone there buckeroo. Are you saying only the faulty guns need inspection or the faulty people? IE another way of voicing one of the most fatuous slogans ever invented by the NRA: "Guns don't kill people, people kill people?
Here it's been people with guns who have killed people. Take away the guns and people stop being killed by guns. Excepting police shootings of course. Between 1992 and 2011 there have been 92 police shootings in Australia.
