If I have my druthers I'd druther be healthy and financially OK, than poor and in bad health.
As far as my health goes, I have couple of conditions which are only fatal if untreated.
My darling mum was a hypochondriac. We used to joke that whatever killed mum wouldn't be serious. That's what actually happened. Mum had diverticulitis. From time to time she would get a bleed. Because of her age, it couldn't be resolved by surgery. It was always resolved by giving her transfusions until the bleed stopped. At a month from her ninety third birthday she got another bleed. Mum decided she'd had enough and refused treatment and died the next day, peacefully in a morphine coma. That will do me, although I'm not sure I want o reach ninety. Like the morphine bit though.
