So Mercyvessel is threatening us with his God to convert to his religion. Like when he quotes John "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son", and yet many places in the Bible we see otherwise, like when God drowned the world, and in 1 John 2:15 God says completely the opposite: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
And indeed the John 3 continues with saying that people are condemned - that is not love - along with other threatening words that Mercyvessel writes.
Yes, that is the only reason Mercyvessel and his dumb book give us as a reason to accept Jesus - to avoid his vengeance. God would put mafia to shame. Which is not only pathetic, but Mercyvessel and anyone else who adheres to this philosophy has had his sense of morality, decency, justice, and humaneness warped beyond recognition by the very book that is supposedly preaching the opposite.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
