We have a pretty small family on both sides and seem to be well above the average with cases. Her mother (who married into the family) had breast cancer several years ago and is still with us. My mother was diagnosed at 52 as was I. It's an early diagnosis so hopefully cousin is going to live to tell just like the others of us have.
Sorry to hear that. Has the family been tested for BRCA?
I know she has...and I was during my breast cancer journey...my results were negative. Weird...you would think since my mother and I both had it that it would have been linked genetically.
