Difficult to raise children, if we are talking in terms of maturity, when adults are the most childish mofos around.
But yeah, obviously, it's important to take care of kids if you have any. We are certainly responsible for those less mature than us, even if they are children that are nevertheless less childish.
I would say that children are absolutely childlike ... but not necessarily childish. Lots of them are, sure, but there are also many adults that make the average child appear like a guru of wisdom.
Funny that we are talking of this, actually. Last night I started to wonder if I actually may want kids. Been a long time since I wondered that. Been so sure I don't want any for so long. I may possibly change my mind.
Probably not. But it's interesting.
If only I could have all the benefits without all the lack of free time and the fact that I would have to have a personality transplant to be able to take care of such a difficult human being as a child!
