Ted Cruz calls President Biden's promise to nominate first Black woman to Supreme Court 'offensive' and 'insulting'.

Of course, other Republicans "think" pretty much the same thing.
Which is racist because they had no problem with Amy Coney Barrett who had never been a judge before Trump fast-tracked her on the appeals court, never tried a case to verdict or argued an appeal in court, but they already know that Biden's pick will be unqualified because she is black.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
