Oh, that's right, everyone.

Ya know, as a mom, I think all kids do better if they are allowed to be themselves - as long as they aren't into something dangerous like cutting.

My three went through a lot of phases and stages, especially my girls. I let most things play out. My parents were so rigid with what they thought I should be, and what they allowed, that I knew that was unpleasant and not how I wanted my kids to grow up.
