it is immaterial whether it is good or right to invade or destroy a democracy if it is needed to preserve a country’s existential interests,  it almost certainly will happen, just like it is immaterial whether it is right or good for gravity to pull a virtuous person who slipped off a cliff to his death. it will happen.

if a small democracy threaten a large autocracy’s nuclear deterrence, and will not back down, it will be road kill just as surely as a virtuous person slipping off of a cliff will plunge to death.

guess what, if a small democracy for some reason threaten a large democracy’s nuclear deterrence, and will not back down, it will be road kill just as surely as of it threaten a large autocracies nuclear deterrence. 

guess what did not need to happen, but happed because we, good old USA, all edged champion of democracy, thought we see an cheap opportunity to take down russia by nullifying her nuclear deterrence and thought ukraine would be no big loss of it doesn’t work out?

 pushing the independent Ukraine to join nato so as to threaten the large autocracy’s nuclear deterrence.   in fact we did so precisely to threaten russia’s nuclear deterrence. 

and now we bellyache about Russia reacting violently. 

Hate to break this to you, democracy does not give a state carte blanche to do what it wants to threaten the existential interest of its neighbor, even if the neighbor is an autocracy.   Even less does denocracy give a state immunity to the blow back if it willing acts as a pawn in another state’s quest to bring down its own big neighbor,  just as virtue does not confer immunity from gravity. 

so fuck you too.

if you think gravity is not worth discussing because it will pull the virtuous as well as the wicked to their deaths, or it is now worth talking to one who would discuss such a gravity,

You not only managed to justify Russia breaching international law by invading a sovereign state, you blamed the USA for doing so.
