when some countries get sanctioned to hell for justified invasion while other get off scott free trashing whole regions just trying to aggrandize itself, that hardly make criticism instigated by the latter anymore than worthless self-serving noise.

the description of ukraine was used to estimate how putin may attempt to configure ukraine  in the aftermath of the war.   it was not used to justify the war at all.

Yes Australia has, because "tu quoque" is a thing.

This is unlike any of the invasions the US conducted after WWII, Except the 1950 invasion of North Korea

and 1991 invasion of Iraq.   But those two, while justified, were less well justified than the current Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Iraq is irrelevant, and Russian invasion of Ukraine is against international law.

....every single one is irrelevant to the fact that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is against international law.

So Russia invasion really does not deserve any of the criticism heaped on it

It deserves every single bit of it and more.

i might say the responsibility of making the Russian invasion so well justified so well justified lies 70% with the US, and only a part of that 70% stems from its recent inflexibility, 20% with the Ukrainians, and 10% with EU and other NATO states.

Its however 100% clear that you are an apologetig of oppression, agression and breach of international law.
