People with type-2-diabetes have a much higher risk of heart disease. Cholesterol levels are poorly correlated with heart disease in people without type-2-diabetes, but they are strongly correlated with them in people with type-2-diabetes. Many studies are showing that even eggs are harmful to people with type-2-diabetes, and coconuts are certainly way worse than eggs.
