Gave up and drained the pool.  We've had so much wind and the seed pods off various plants and trees and the extreme pollen simply trashed the water.

Will be some cleaning this weekend then we start the refill process and getting the chemicals right.

The price of chlorine has gone up so much in the last couple years that the whole idea of this cost pains me.

Better yet - fill it with gin..



Then all you need is a 55 gallon drum of vermouth and a 20 lbs olive.........



Ain' t no fungus gonna grow in THAT!

What really hurts is that we had it looking pretty good two weeks ago...in the matter of days, with the wind and the rain, it turned into the black lagoon.

Had one of the dogs fallen in, I'm not sure I'd have gone in after them.
