The point is to develop a strong male identity in christ and traditional family values, to make leaders who will influence their communities and, ultimately, the laws of our country. It's a parachurch movement, but not every church is all in on the coup. Some of them just have mens groups because the others have bought into the coup and it's basically a competition to provide religious services in a crowded market.
The other guys have cushioned seats and ac, we're gonna have it, because otherwise the other guys get that sweet sweet collection cash. If you're really into it, you wouldn't attend a church that didn't have a mens group, or if you did, you'd be setting one up. A church without a mens group has been feminized by secularization.... and that's why their (and broadly, christian) men fail - according to them. So we all need to relearn how to be real men (and the men need to teach the women their place at home...lol) like god intended.
