Sure, reasonable people can disagree about which kind of asshole is the worst kind. I tend to appreciate a genuine asshole, myself, but I grew up with em..so I would.
He's being manipulated by himself, at any rate. He habitually seeks out, consumes, and then disseminates white supremacist talking points. I assume there was some point in his life where it was more a case of accidental leakage, but not anymore. Active propaganda works on the disseminator first and foremost - not entirely unlike a daily prayer.
