The scholarly consensus is mostly a bunch of christian apologists. In this case I don't have much meas for it.
More complicated. The scholarly consensus is actually a negotiation between a widely referenced reductive school that only left four, and christian apologists. Those four, written by someone..but paul in contemporary scholarship is a literary convention, explicitly so..not a man. The character of paul as described even in just the four, or seven, is believed to be pious fiction (or fraud, if you prefer).
