Quote:Disney is trying to figure out why the incredibly expensive hotel flopped, and the company is spending even more money to try and find out why.
According to Disneyland News, the company is looking to understand why their first fully immersive hotel experience was so bad that no one wanted to book a stay. Now, some guests who had previously stayed at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and completed a survey after their stay are being asked to join a paid focus group so Disney can learn more about their experiences.

Perhaps it is because Disney has destroyed the franchise, though I can't say it was very healthy before they got the rights.
Star Wars is a fantasy story for 10-year-olds. Star Trek is a world that adult geeks wish they could live in. People go on Start Trek cruises (literally by the boatload). Star Wars is just bad -- and I loved the first movie and many of the subsequent books (which are no longer canon).
Plus, Disney hotels are usually incredibly expensive, even without the immersive experience.
