Say what you will about Boris playing Prince Prospero while the rest of the country was supposed to be under lockdown, at least he wasn’t actively trying to undermine any and all strategies to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. And, at least Boris Johnson has some understanding of how badly he’s shit the bed if he’s resigned. When Trump was in that position, he sent an angry mob to fuck up the Capitol.
That's a weakness, they'll never achieve victory for the cause if they lean on the crutches of decorum, tradition, and shame.
Which is a clear plus for the Brits over the Yanks. Maybe in three more years whoever they pick as leader will resign yet again for failing to get anything done. Unless, of course, Britain comes to their senses and finally votes Labour.
