Court Rules Against Jewish Couple In Racism Lawsuit
Basically, the three judge panel decided that the agency’s refusal to enroll the couple in foster parent classes wasn’t anti-Semitism, because there were other agencies that would accept them.
In practical terms, this means that a restaurant that posted a sign reading ‘No Jews Allowed’ wouldn’t be chargeable with hate speech, as long as there’s a restaurant in town that DID allow Jews.
Disgusting.

Quote:Tennessee judges have dismissed a lawsuit filed by a Knoxville couple who alleged that a state-sponsored Christian adoption agency refused to help them because they are Jewish.
After first agreeing to help them, Holston in January 2021 informed them it wouldn't enroll them in foster-parent training classes because "as a Christian organization, our executive team made the decision several years ago to only provide adoption services to prospective adoptive families that share our belief system in order to avoid conflicts or delays with future service delivery."
