Also, Nudger, there are plenty of individuals who have actually captured footage with a Nikon P900 who would disagree with you. People who have taken photos of city skylines across more than 60 miles of water for instance.
4) (A)Advances in science are not made by an appeal to authority. Also, (B)there are plenty of people who have placed cameras on weather baloons who have come to the opposite conclusion, that there is no visible curvature to Earth and that the horizon always rises to the eye level of the observer. Unless of course you use a fish-eye lense.
1) Yes. However this in no way implies that ALL images have been faked.
2) The question innitially mentioned 'Governments'. It was not focussed on 'Trust'. Governments are not and have not always been the organizations which have been exploring our world.

4) (A) This is true. I have not been doing such. I've just been offering what's been quickly and freely available for replies.
(B) People can also be wrong, incorrect and other wise fallable. As (I think) the video does address in passing.
Also, in regards to (B) are you not actually thus making an appeal to 'Aurthority' yourself? As in 'Look at these people's stuff but not these other people's stuff'?
