The only race I talked about is the race of the victim and her children, who happen to be black, so I'm unsure what you're referring to here.
Let's put it this way. It's great to be against human trafficking and concerned. It's ok to want to protest about it. But when you take those good intentions and go protest Ping Pong pizza because you believe there's a sex dungeon in the basement, your good intentions are kind of just backfiring because you're crying wolf over and over, and you're not thinking things through and using logic. The organizations who work to stop human trafficking have said as much. The whackjobs are only hurting things, not helping. This is pretty much the mirror image of what these social justice protestors were doing in the story I brought up. They were basically looking for a sex dungeon, and a real victim came out to them and showed them how dumb they really sounded.
Nudge tries to make it sound good to be almost religious in caring about social justice. I agree that the general rule should be that lives matter and human rights matter, and I believe this almost religiously. That's not the bad part though. The bad part is being so religious that you throw logic completely out of the window, and start looking for sex dungeons or calling Jussie Smollett low key noble for faking hate crimes, because if successfully pulled off, it could have benefited the movement. Caring about social justice almost as much as religious people care about their beliefs? Sure. That's great. Going off the deep end though? That's a different story.
