Maybe I once was superior, but have been dumbed down to a more basic level?

Maybe you are realizing you aren't the superior being you thought you were.

I just hate how mediocrity is so readily accepted in the human world, while any display of superiority is seen as offensive. People are allowed to have logically inadequate opinions and do all the stupid shit they want to do, but God forbid someone say "No" to medocrity and be proud of it. The world doesn't need more medocrity, it needs people who are willing to defend their perception of superiority to their dying breath.
