-and yet....for years....you've been repeatedly made aware of the many mistakes in magic book. It's not, really, is if you'd stop believing if there were a mistake in magic book..because you haven't. Why pretend it matters to you when it doesn't?
OFC humans make mistakes. Humans also write books. If there were a mistake in magic book....it's a safe bet to say it's a human mistake, and not a gods mistake. You see..there's really no danger -to a god- in magic books being riddled with error. You're defending an idol to the detriment of the divine.
