Perhaps the russians in kherson should get a headstart on running, or phoning home with their last goodbyes? Wouldn't want to end up like those poor fucks in izyum and lyman. OFC that's not the message from russian propagandists, they think that the troops in kherson should prepare for urban combat, stand and die. I really do wonder how long it's going to take every russian grunt to realize that the ukr forces aren't their actual enemy in this conflict.
You'd think the Russians would have learned something about Hitler's stand-and-fight, festung orders.
Of course, the last month of Ukrainian victories has been brought about precisely because Russians aren't doing stan-and-fight, but rather unassing a position before getting toasted.
This video has not only some footage (not much) of a small Ukrainian armored operation, but interviews with the solders who fought that are very informative. These guys have a quiet confidence to them. One of them mentions the use of combined-arms ops, it's noted that the Ukrainian commander used drones for a better view of the battle.
I feel sorry for those 300,000 conscripts. Granted that the number looks huge, but looking at the quality of the troops in this video, I feel sorry for those Russian draftees, in a way.
