God's son was killed by mankind according to his own will, God sent his son to earth to die for mankind...basically by proxy murdering his own child, even when said son prayed to be delivered...and as a result decrees that anyone who doesn't accept his son's forced sacrifice is going to burn in hell forever.
That's God for you.
A misogynistic, slavery advocating, murderous, disgusting shit wad... among other things.

Quote:It's God's universe. He can and does kill every living thing, ultimately. He's the God of life; He's the God of death. But then "God" would have to be, wouldn't he?
No. If I was a god I would end suffering. If I had created human beings, I wouldn't be a fucking asshole and condemn them for their own humanity. I would never torture people at all, much less for eternity. I wouldn't do something so wretched as not leaving a scrap of evidence that I exist. I wouldn't make endless torture a consequence of questioning me, and denying my existence. I would not allow evil. I would be all powerful so I would smite Satan and end that problem. I wouldn't be so much like an ancient, psychopathic, amoral person with a penis. I would be compassionate, loving, and forgiving. And I wouldn't send myself as my son to be born, live, and be strapped to a cross to die so that sins may be forgiven. I would just forgive sins.
