I grew up listening to country in the house because that's what my mother listened to. I don't care for most of it. Though like awty mentioned, Johnny Cash, and some others I can handle, like Tennessee Ernie Ford or Marty Robbins. Don't get me started on that yodeling shit, though. That shit drove my dad (and me) nuts. He was a fan of the 3 Bs and all things classical. One of my sons thought that I might like some "modern country". NOPE.
