That said, the way they've phrased it, "self-inflicted stab wounds to the arms", either she really shit the bed with some household task, or she's a cutter. My depression never got to the point of cutting myself, but I know that something like this, there's going to be more to healing than just treating those arm wounds. I suspect that her hospital stay will likely include a 3+ day involuntary hold in the psych ward, and years of therapy afterward.
Hard to imagine what household chore she'd screw up badly enough to have stab wounds on both arms (repairing the family threshing machine, maybe).
Being Ted Cruz' kid, it's a wonder she didn't hang herself, poor lass.
