I have no issue with the Israelites monaltry beliefs. Isaiah 45 is pretty clear, as is the rest of the OT that they believed in more than one god. That coupled with trinitarian belief light the letters of correction to the church of Corinth might lead to a solely monotheistic interpretation. What’s not clear though is the direct tie from idol to diety.
