Ukraine has lost the political parties that opposed Zelensky, because he shut them down. It has lost the freedom to criticize Zelensky in the media. It has lost the ability to gather in Ukrainian Orthodox Churches to practice freedom of religion.
All these things were TAKEN away by Zelensky.
Moreover, it has been announced recently that one of the world's biggest and most predatory "asset management funds" will be loaning the money to "rebuild" Ukraine. This is in addition to the billions in loans from the IMF.
When a country becomes in debt to these institutions, the institutions take away the country's right to enact protective labor laws, to keep public goods public, to control their own economies and make sure that the people who live on top of the resources get the benefits of the resources.
So much has been taken away from Ukraine by the current Ukrainian government and its international "supporters" that it isn't really any longer a sovereign nation. That's "winning," I guess.
